Good sleep is for everyone.

Whether your pain is in your back, neck, shoulder, or wherever else on your body, there are different positions that you can try while sleeping to relieve pain in your body to sleep comfortably again. By using multiple pillows, you can help your body reduce stress. Sleeping is an important part of healing, so trying out these next steps can make a major difference at night and during the day.

Tip:

Grab two pillows, lay on your side, place one pillow under your head and the other pillow in between your knees. This position will be good for your spine, hip, ankles, knees, and back. This position will support your body in these areas and reduce any stress you might be feeling.

Move the pillow as needed:
  1. In order to open your spine and relieve pressure, try lifting your knees up with the pillow more focused on the knee area.

  2. In order to help recovery in your ankles, keep the pillow between your knees, but focus more on the pillow supporting your feet.

The Pillow Method is great for those who have had surgery in their ankles or knees and want to avoid putting unnecessary stress or pressure on those areas because they’re still feeling pain.
